The Bill of Rights are the first 10 amendments to the Constitution. December 15, 1791 was when the Bill of Rights was ratified.
The first amendment
The first amendment gives the people freedom of religion, speech, press, petition and assembly. This means the government can't control or favor a religion, Americans have the right to say their beliefs and thought, they're allowed to gather legally and present a petition or suggest new laws.
The second amendment
Everyone has access to purchase gun. They have this access to protect themselves as self-defense.
The third amendment
It's not breaking the law or your responsibility to host and take take care of soldiers. You may but it is not your job to take care of them.
You have the right to say no.
The fourth amendment
No one can search your house without a warrant unless their is a reasonable cause. This is so you are safe in your own home and protected.
The fifth amendment
No one can be put on trial for a serious crime unless a grand jury decided there is enough proof. Also if you are in the military you can have a trial without the grand jury's permission during an emergency. Also if someone is tried for a case and found not guilty they can't be tired again. This is called double jeopardy.
The sixth amendment
Everyone has the right to quick trail, meaning as soon as possibly. Also everyone has the right to know what they are being charged for. Lastly, everyone has access to a lawyer if needed.
The seventh amendment
If their is any dispute over a lot of money it should be resolved in a federal court. Also, you can't set up your own government.
the eighth amendment
You can't be bailed out for a serious crime and you're should be even with your crime.
the nineth amendment
All citizens have more rights then the rights listed.
the tenth amendment
The states and people have addition powers. Their is a balance between federal and state government.
